SHORT BIO
As a designer who embraces modern elegance, I am really intrigued by the opportunities to integrate different forms of art and incorporate different materials into my work. The French architect and designer Le Corbusier has been a great inspiration; his ability to use "big, tough, harsh materials softly" is intriguing and reflects my style of work. In my designs, I aim to echo my customers' personalities while creating simple and honest designs that transcend time and trend.
My experience spans from freelance interior designer work to interning for the cutting edge design firm Think Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and was just recently accepted to the Master of Fine Arts program in Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. In my freelance and academic work, I have been creating environments that embody beauty and serenity. Creating functional spaces that are modern and inviting is my strength.
